The Daily Life of a PenPal

Blogging about penpals, daily life in the USA, and everything in between!

New job, new pals!

My interview at Pizza hut went really great! Adam offered me a job as a Customer Service Representative. It’s basically just answering phones, taking orders and complaints/questions, and working the register. I go in for orientation/training on Thursday, so I’ll be sure to let you know how that goes.

So far, no such luck with, but if you’re looking to talk to someone from a foreign country, is a great place! Within 1 day I already had people messaging me from other places! I’ve talked to Nour from Morroco and Matt from New Hampshire. Also, a guy named Pierre from Sweden messaged me saying he was looking for someone to help him learn English better. I feel that emailing back and forth would feel more like being pen pals,  but this will have to do for now.

My little sister Amber (8 years old) is texting me from my dad’s phone while he’s in physical therapy. All the words she seems to know are “lol” and “okay” but it’s kind of cute, 🙂

Well, goodbye, internet. Wish me luck on my endeavors!
